Excused absences include personal illness, death in the family, scheduled religious holidays, and unavoidable medical or dental appointments.
Pre-arranged absences should be approved by the pricipal.
Students must bring a note signed by their parent that describes the reason for the absence to be excused.
Students who do not bring a note will recieve an unexcused abscence resulting in a 0 for that day. If the note is not recieved in 3 days of the abscence, the abscence will remain unexcused.
Students must get an admit slip before school. Failure to do so will result in a D-Hall assignment. Students who are late to class are considered tardy. A student must be in class for 1/2 of the period in order to be considered present for the class.
