Navarro Education Foundation Grants
The Navarro Education Foundation will be offering grants for the 2007-2008 school year. Please click on the links below to download the forms. Please Check the Guidlines for additional information.
I want to encourage you to apply for a Navarro Education Foundation grant. The members of the Foundation Board work extremely hard to raise money in order to award these grants to teachers. The purpose is to support your efforts in providing excellence to every NISD student. The grants are intended to provide for an enriching activitiy or for equipment that is above and beyond what the district can offer with its basic budget. I would especially like to see grant applications that focus on science and/or technology. The application is not difficult. You will find it on the district website under the 'Teachers" tab. Then click on Navarro Education Foundation and go to Guidelines and Forms. Applications are due to my office by September 7. The Foundation Board will review the apps. and make awards at the September School Board meeting.
