Sign-up For Healthcare Today!
Texas has more uninsured children than any other state in the U.S. On May 2nd we will be sending home applications for CHIPS, Medicaid, and other state services. If you are interested, please complete the form and return it to your childs teacher by May 9th. The San Antonio Food Bank is providing the applications to us and will donate $5.00 dollars to our school for every completed form that is returned. Please contact Nurse Heather at 372-1933, ext. 2012 for additional information.
Pre-K & Kinder Registration
May 6-9 are the registration dates, by appointment only for the 2008-09 pre-k and kinder classes. For qualification information and to schedule an appointment please contact the school office at 830-372-1933.
New Student Registration
Students new the the Navarro school district will be registering on the following dates. Sunday, August 3rd from 1-5. Monday and Tuesday, August 4th and 5th from 9:00 a.m- 3:30 p.m. Parents will need to bring a birth certificate, shot record, social security card, and proof of residency.
Talent Show
The annual Elementary Talent Show will be held Friday, May 16, from 1:00-3:00 in the cafeteria. Everyone is welcome to attend!

| Parent Portal txConnect Parent Portal is now available. Parents and students can setup an account to securely access grades and attendance information. Information about the new program was sent home with students in 1st thru 3rd grade and is being mailed home to students in grades 4th thru 12th If you have any questions about access please email txconnect@navarro.txed.net. | Dismissal Time Our dismissal time is 3:20 p.m. Please be on time to pick up your child. We do not have staff available to baby-sit your child after 3:30 each day. If picking up your child on time is a hardship, please call the office and we can give you the information about the YMCA After School Program.

| Notice to all visitors on campus! All persons visiting NISD campuses will be required to produce state or federally issued picture I.D. when entering the school buildings. The identification used will be exchanged in the office, by the secretary for a "visitor" tag to be worn while on campus. Upon leaving, the I.D. will be returned when signing out. Thank you for helping us keep our students and staff safe!
