Navarro Elementary Principal's Statement
Navarro Elementary School is designed as a place where both students and staff are active learners. Each faculty member believes that the relationship fostered with students, both individually and as a campus, makes Navarro Elementary a special place of enrichment, caring, and success. The staff is committed to preparing students for a rigorous middle and high school in the Navarro I.S.D. Additionally, the staff is committed to preserving the family values of honesty, integrity, hard work, belief in self, and patriotism.
Navarro Elementary provides a variety of experiences outside of the classroom for students. Activities include University Interscholastic League academic competitions, Destination Imagination competitions, field trips, choir, karate, twirling, student council, and scouting. Our hope is that Navarro students will become well-adjusted individuals who gain knowledge from a variety of experiences.
Parents are a vital part of the campus success. Parents are encouraged to become active members of the P.T.O., the Panther Parent Volunteer Group, classroom parents, and assistants on field trips. Parents are encouraged to visit the campus as often as possible.
